About Arts on the Trail

On the last weekend in September, arts, colour and entertainment come to life like nowhere else. Set amongst the flora and fauna of the beautiful Algoma District, Arts on the Trail is a scenic, self-guided art tour in and around the City of Elliot Lake that includes over twenty artists exhibiting and selling their work at local venues, all to the sounds of local performing musicians.

At Arts on the Trail you will find a wide variety of fine arts and crafts including paintings, fibre, photography, wood carvings, wood turning, phollage, teddy bears, sand and glass etchings, multi-media, jewellery and more. In addition, there are special demonstrations, open art studios, live music, and First Nations exhibits. In addition, there are special demonstrations, open art studios, live music, student art exhibition and a special Canada 150 Community Project. So make sure you come and join in the fun on September 30th!
